The Maserati Ghibli Hybrid delivers more power with less fuel consumption and low emissions.

Together, the powertrain is 330 hp and makes the Ghibli Hybrid 255 km/h fast. It sprints from zero to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The Italian thus almost reaches the performance level of the Ghibli's 350-hp V6 engine, but requires 25 percent less fuel.

Ghibli
The Ghibli Hybrid is available in GranLusso and GranSport trim levels.

Returning the energy to the battery
Maserati's 48-volt system consists of a belt-driven starter-generator (RSG for short), high-voltage battery, electric compressor and DC/DC converter. The RSG acts as an alternator and allows energy to be fed back to the battery during deceleration phases. This feeds the engine's e-compressor, which works in conjunction with the classic turbocharger.

The task of the e-compressor is to assist the turbocharger in developing the engine's power in the lower speed range.

Ghibli
New features on the Maserati Ghibli include the drive mode buttons and the characteristic rotary control.

Multimedia system Intelligent Assistant
The Ghibli Hybrid benefits from changes across the range for the 2021 model year, including a voice recognition system that can control functions such as climate control, vehicle settings and navigation.

Another new feature is the MIA (Maserati Intelligent Assistant) multimedia system. Its HD display has been enlarged.

Forged aluminum knob
An eye-catcher on the center console is the redesigned transmission lever. It is moved to the left or right to shift gears by hand, and parking mode is activated with a new P button.
Also new are the drive mode buttons and the characteristic forged aluminum rotary control for the audio volume.

The Ghibli Hybrid will be produced at the Maserati plant in Grugliasco near Turin from fall 2020. The price will start at around 80,350 francs.
