Loxo: Perfect solution for the last mile 🎥

FEINdISTRIBUTION Do you also shop online from time to time? It could be that from spring 2023 your order will be brought to you by Loxo, Europe's first autonomous delivery vehicle. A real Swiss.

As recently as June of this year, Lara Amini-Rentsch presented the Loxo project in a keynote speech at the Female Innovation Forum 2022, enthusiastically talking about the autonomous delivery vehicle for the so-called last mile being in the certification phase. Now the three-member Loxo team with Lara Amini-Rentsch, Amin Amini and Claudio Panizza was able to present the prototype of its Swiss-made delivery car

Lara Amini-Rentsch: "With Loxo, there will be less dead metal in cities. By that I mean cars that stand around more than they drive. We're not allowed to reveal the name yet, but in spring 2023, a major grocer in Switzerland will be using Loxo vehicles to deliver goods."

Safe all around and purely electric
Loxo is 100 percent electric, monitored by teleoperation. Half of the vehicle is made of recycled materials that can be reused another time later. Loxo is designed to be used virtually anywhere, as a combination of radar, lidar, sonar, camera and powerful algorithm will control the transport vehicle autonomously and safely.

"Together we can move into a sustainable future," Lara Amini-Rentsch still lets it be known, also pointing out that she and her ever-growing team can handle a customer's entire fleet management.
