London cab
The VN5 is based on the TX5, so it has the same small turning circle. Practical in the city.

Geely subsidiary LEVC has announced the name of its range extender e-transporter, which is due to go into production later this year: It's called the VN5, with the number standing for the cargo volume of five cubic meters.

This means that the van follows the previous naming convention at LECV: in the case of the well-known cab (in the gallery on the right), the model bears the abbreviation TX; in the case of the van, the VN is supposed to stand for van.

Loading capacity of 5.5 cubic meters
The VN5 has a sliding side door and asymmetrically split rear doors. The vehicle has a load capacity of 5.5 cubic meters with a payload of 830 kilograms. Two Euro pallets are said to fit in the cargo space.

In addition, the size of the side sliding door has been chosen so that a pallet can be loaded from the side (note the gallery).

Total range of 485 kilometers
Battery-electric, the van is said to be able to travel 102 kilometers; with the range extender, which LEVC calls "eCity," the total range increases to up to 485 kilometers.

According to the manufacturer, the battery can be fully charged in 30 minutes on a 50 kW charger. Prices are still open.
