Lexus: Luxury lounge with lots of comfort 🎥
FOUR OR SEVEN SEATS With the LM, Lexus is tapping into a new market segment for luxury vans. The focus is on maximum comfort and relaxation for the occupants. A self-charging hybrid system ensures clean propulsion.
The new Lexus LM, stands for Luxury Mover, which combines the character of a luxury sedan with the spaciousness of a van, is available in two versions. As a four-seater, it offers large airline-style rear seats that fully convert to a sleeper, a 48-inch widescreen monitor, a refrigerator and smartphone-style control of interior settings. Designed for VIP transportation of multiple passengers is the seven-seater. It has two full rows of rear seats and an additional row of seats in the third row.
Generous dimensions
With the LM, Lexus has developed a vehicle in which passengers should be able to relax. This includes the simple operation of the technology in the vehicle. Air conditioning, lighting and the comfortable large seats can be adjusted to the passengers' individual preferences in just a few simple steps.
Chief engineer Takami Yokoo: "I wanted to create a space where passengers with busy lives can be themselves again. The result is this car with generous dimensions. After all, the overall length is 5.13 meters, the height is 1.95 and the wheelbase is 3.00 meters. "
Customized 3-D surround sound
The LM's large window areas and low beltline convey a feeling of openness, and the sliding side doors make entry easier. Inside, active noise cancellation transmits sound waves in reverse phase through a loudspeaker, reducing the generation of low-frequency noise while driving. A tailor-made Mark Levinson audio system with 3-D surround sound has been developed for both versions of the LM.
The LM 350h uses Lexus' 2.5-liter hybrid electric powertrain. The highest engine output is 245 hp, and the maximum torque is 239 Nm. The all-wheel drive E-Four comes as standard. Torque is adjusted between 100:0 and 20:80 between the axles. Price on request.
