Land Rover: Homage to a legend 🎥
LIMITED EDITION To mark the 75th birthday of the Land Rover brand, the long-established English 4x4 specialist is launching the Defender 75th Edition as a very special model. This honors a milestone in automotive history.
On April 30, 1948, the first model bearing the Land Rover name was presented to the public at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Now the brand is showing the extensively equipped Defender 75th Edition special model, which will be available in 90 and 110 body variants and with four engine options.
Add to that the iconic color: classic Grasmere Green on the body, wheels and interior. The birthday version's equipment also includes details such as the 3-D surround camera system, Matrix LED headlights and the configurable Terrain Response System.
Fabric folding roof or panoramic window
Other special features of the 75th Limited Edition anniversary model include a folding fabric roof or an optional panoramic sunroof. Comfort is further enhanced by the heated and 14-way adjustable seats with memory function for driver and front passenger, the heated steering wheel and the 3-zone automatic climate control.
In addition to the Defender 110 plug-in hybrid model, short and long versions of the Defender 75th Edition are available as the P300, P400 and D300 with an internal combustion engine. The new Ingenium engines are used here. Gasoline and diesel units always operate with mild hybrid technology.
Delivery from the first half of 2023
Land Rover is also ringing in the birthday celebrations with a completely new collection of lifestyle products that likewise celebrate the historic milestone.
The special model can be configured now at www.landrover.ch/de/vehicles/defender at prices starting at 127,400 Swiss francs, and deliveries of the vehicles will begin in the first half of 2023.
