Land Rover: First pictures of the Range Rover 2022 🎥
The Range Rover has been one of the world's most sought-after SUVs for more than 50 years. Thanks to continuous model updates and unrestricted practicality, it remains the leader in this category.
Based on the Autobiography model, the First Edition is a version with particularly exclusive equipment.
Half a century ago, the Range Rover founded the luxury SUV segment. Since then, it has combined high quality and comfort with the ability to push boundaries. The now completely renewed model is the most attractive Range Rover ever.
In terms of powertrains, it will offer a choice between mild and plug-in hybrids from January 2022 and a purely electrically powered variant from 2024. In addition, there will be model versions with normal and long wheelbase and with four, five or seven seats.
Gasoline, diesel and soon purely electric
The new Range Rover is based on the MLA-Flex (Modular Longitudinal Architecture Flexible) platform. The powertrain portfolio includes the P400 and P530 mild hybrids (gasoline engines) and the D250, D300 and D350 (diesel engines) with outputs ranging from 249 to 530 hp, and the P440e and P510e plug-in hybrids with 440 and 510 hp. In purely electric mode, the electric cars can cover around 80 kilometers in practice.
Equipment variants fulfill all wishes
In terms of equipment, there is a choice between SE, HSE and Autobiography. In the first year of production, the First Edition, which is based on the Autobiography, will also be available with an exclusive range of equipment.
The Range Rover SV from the specialist forge Special Vehicle Operations represents a special interpretation of the luxury typical of the model and its possibilities for personalization. It can also be ordered with a normal or long wheelbase and with exclusive features such as the SV Serenity and SV Intrepid design themes or the SV Signature Suite with four seats.
The new Range Rover is available from 138,200 Swiss francs.
