The factory specifies fuel consumption of 3.3 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions of up to 88 g/km. The electric motor of the Defender P400e provides its torque immediately - on the road as well as off-road.
The five- or six-seater Defender plug-in hybrid can cover up to 53 kilometers purely on electric power and thus with zero local emissions. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes 5.6 seconds.
Intelligent All-Wheel Drive for the diesel
For the Defender, Land Rover has new smooth-running and powerful inline six-cylinder diesels from the Ingenium engine family in the D200, D250 and D300 power ratings. The D300 is capable of 650 Nm. The P300 and P400 gasoline engines remain on offer.
The gasoline engines get permanent all-wheel drive, while the diesels team up with the new Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The system automatically adapts torque distribution to the driving situation, and all the torque can also go to one axle.
Underride protection noble in silicone satin
The new X-Dynamic version slots in between the entry-level Defender and the Defender X. You can see details in the gallery.
Special features include front and rear underride guards in silicone satin and matching radiator grille trim and lettering. In addition, aluminum wheels, exterior mirror caps, windshield surrounds, sills and the wheel arch protection are all finished in elegant black.
The slope angles are identical on new Land Rover Defender 90 and 100.
Electronically controlled air suspension
The P400e is available with five or six seats. Electronically controlled air suspension, 20-inch aluminum wheels and three-zone automatic climate control are standard.
Inside, there are illuminated stainless steel door sill trims and seat covers made of the robust outdoor fabric Robustek with a hexagonal pattern and contrasting stitching. Colors and materials vary depending on the equipment selected.
