Rio
The Rio will be presented with a significantly revised body design for the 2021 model year.

With the top-of-the-range 1.0 T-GDI 120 engine, Kia is using a petrol mild hybrid system with 48-volt technology in conjunction with the new, intelligent "clutch-by-wire" manual gearbox for the first time.

LED headlights and daytime running lights
The facelift brings a narrower grille. The front bumper is now lower and wider and, depending on the version, includes more striking fog lights. This is immediately pleasing.
Another new feature is the LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights. There are also new paint colors and alloy wheels. You can see the details in the gallery.

GT Line dashboard in carbon look
The most important changes in the interior are the larger touchscreen and a new instrument panel with a 4.2-inch display.

The sporty GT Line version has black seat upholstery with white contrasting stitching and a carbon-look dashboard. The new Uvo Connect online services with the Kia Live service and the Kia Uvo app are available for models with a navigation system.

Real-time traffic jam information and fuel prices
Kia Live offers real-time traffic jam information and other online services such as current fuel prices or the display of free parking spaces.

The free Uvo app can be used to send planned routes to the Rio's navigation system, determine the vehicle's location and call up other vehicle information. All in all, the modernized Rio combines optimized design inside and out and features safety and infotainment technologies that are otherwise only found in higher-class models. Strong arguments.

Seven-year factory warranty
Kia offers the new Rio with a naturally aspirated petrol engine and two turbocharged petrol engines with 84, 100 or 120 hp. The Rio, Trend, First Edition, Style and GT-Line versions are available. Prices start at 16,450 Swiss francs (Rio version, 1.2 CVVT, 84 hp and 5-speed manual gearbox).

All models are offered with the Kia factory warranty of seven years or 150,000 kilometers as standard.
