Kia: The Stinger shocks the competition

Everywhere it goes, it earns admiring glances. That's no wonder, since the silhouette of the Kia Stinger is somewhere between the Jaguar XJ and the Porsche Panamera, and yet it's completely unique. So it's no big surprise that tennis star Rafael Nadal likes to travel with the strikingly dynamic Stinger (meaning spike).

Eye-catching features include the air vents on the front fenders and the slightly upward-curving rear tear-off edge on the tailgate, as well as the trim elements in dynamic Dark Chrome.

Equipment leaves hardly anything to be desired

The interior pampers with leather and Alcantara, aluminum look and black velor headliner. The GT Line version pampers the buyer with, among other things, heated memory front seats, 8-inch display, head-up display and aluminum pedals. The steering wheel, which is flattened at the bottom, can also be heated and also has a memory function.

Power without end with a torquey 370 hp
When the gas pedal of the Kia Stinger is pressed a little harder, the 3.3 T-GDi V6 with 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and 370 hp with a throaty sound gets going unexpectedly quickly. With the drive mode button, the driver can choose between five settings: "Comfort", "Sport", "Sport+", "Eco" and "Smart". With the latter, the system selects the appropriate characteristic itself. The power plant from Korea produces pure driving pleasure seconds after takeoff.

All this is already a shock to the competition.
With the Stinger, Kia shows a penchant for higher things without losing its grip on the ground. Prices start at 59,200 Swiss francs, including a seven-year warranty.
