e-Niro
As before, the all-electric e-Niro is offered in two engine versions with 136 or 150 hp.

Technical innovations include a 10.25-inch navigation system with the Uvo Connect online service, a three-phase onboard charger and traffic sign recognition. The dashboard and LED taillights of the electric SUV have been given a new design.

Shift-by-wire circuit with rotary knob
Inside, the new center console immediately catches the eye: the all-electric drive eliminates the need for a gearshift and transmission gate. For the first time, the new shift-by-wire system uses a rotary knob to control the transmission. The rotary knob sits on its own console extending from the foot of the center armrest.

In addition to the transmission control, the controls for the electronic parking brake including auto hold function, the seat heating and ventilation, the steering wheel heating as well as the driving mode selector, the parking sensors and the distance warning system are also located on the console.

Charged up to 80 percent in 54 minutes
As before, the all-electric Niro is offered in two engine versions with different ranges. Both variants have a CCS charging port that can charge the battery at a 100 kW station in 54 minutes (0 to 80 percent). When charging with single-phase alternating current (230 volts), the standard onboard charger is used.

Even the basic version manages 300 kilometers
The basic e-Niro version with 39.2 kWh (136 hp, from 39,900 Swiss francs) with a range of up to just under 300 kilometers already offers automatic climate control, smart key and an audio system with an 8-inch touchscreen that replaces the previous 7-inch radio. It includes a smartphone interface and digital radio (DAB+).

Also standard are traffic jam assist, front collision warning with pedestrian detection, active lane departure warning, high beam assist and drowsiness warning.

All information is clearly arranged. With a quick glance, you can see the range, the nearest charging stations and which station is currently playing your favorite hit.

As an option a preheating system for the battery
Other features available for the e-Niro include LED headlights, premium sound system, inductive smartphone charging station, 220-volt power outlet, leather upholstery, power-adjustable driver's seat, glass sunroof, as well as blind spot warning, cross-traffic alert, battery preheating system and an energy-saving heat pump for the interior climate control.

Electromobility awakens driving pleasure in seconds
The e-Niro in motion. You don't really want to believe it the first time you hear it, because in the top version with 150 kW (204 hp) and the 395 Newton meters available from the first tap of the accelerator pedal, the car is really fun.

So much for electromobility not arousing passion, and with the associated 64 kWh capacity battery you can even get really far. According to the factory, it should be well over 400 kilometers. And the sprint from 0 to 100 takes 7.8 seconds. Everything clear?

Warranty for seven years or 150 000 kilometers
In addition to the entry-level price of 49,900 Swiss francs for the more powerful model, the plus points include a manufacturer's warranty as standard for seven years or 150,000 kilometers. This applies to the battery and the electric motor.
A clear announcement, isn't it?
