Jeep: The Avenger climbs only with power 🎥
IT'S GOING ON The first all-electric Jeep is called the Avenger. The brand has announced four new electric cars for the next three years. The first will debut in Paris in mid-October and will be built in Poland from 2023.
So far, the electrified portfolio still exists as plug-in hybrids. At the Paris Motor Show in mid-October, Jeep will present the Avenger, its first all-electric SUV for Europe.
It is to be launched on the market as early as next year. The aim is to achieve a standard range of around 650 kilometers. The vehicle, which is positioned below the Renegade, will be built at the Stellantis plant in Poland.
Range of up to 800 kilometers
Three more electric cars are to follow in Europe and North America by the end of 2025. These include the newly developed Recon genuine off-road vehicle (blinks gallery) and the Wagoneer S in the premium SUV segment (right gallery). The latter is to have an output of 441 kW (600 hp) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under four seconds. The development target is also a range of around 650 kilometers. In addition, there is the Wagoneer as a PHEV with a range of around 800 kilometers, which will presumably only be offered in North America.
Battery-electric drives are the goal
Jeep's future plans call for all of the brand's vehicles sold in Europe and half in the U.S. to have a battery-electric powertrain by the end of the decade
