Now the station wagon is also available in Switzerland: the first Hyundai i30 Wagons have arrived at dealers.

According to the manufacturer, the station wagon combines elegance, versatility and one of the largest space offers in this class, combined with the highest level of safety (5 stars in the Euro NCAP crash test).

The agony of choice
Four equipment levels, three gasoline engines (100 to 140 hp), two diesel engines (110 hp, 136 hp), a six-speed manual transmission and - depending on the version - an automated seven-speed dual-clutch transmission allow an individual configuration to suit customer needs.

Prices now known
Depending on the engine, Hyundai offers the new station wagon in Switzerland in four equipment variants, as Pica (from 19,190 francs), as Origo (from 22,600 francs), as Amplia (from 27,100 francs) and in the top version Vertex (from 33,300 francs). In addition, those who decide quickly will benefit from the summer promotion "Move on" with a promotional discount of 1000 francs until August 31, 2017 for vehicles that have already arrived in Switzerland, combined with a 0.9 percent leasing offer.

Variable and versatile
The i30 Wagon adopts the design of the 5-door version, complemented by the versatility of a station wagon. With 602 liters (VDA 211), which can be expanded to 1650 liters (VDA 214) by folding down the rear seats, the Wagon offers one of the largest trunk volumes in its segment. The overall length of the new station wagon is 4.58 m with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. The overall width is 1795 mm and the height 1475 mm, including roof rails.

Assistants on board
Starting with the basic Pica version, the station wagon comes standard with Hill Start Assist (HAC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Driver Attention Alert (DAA), Highbeam Assist and Lane Keeping Assist with active steering intervention (LKAS). And this is only a partial list of the safety equipment and assistance systems...
