Honda ZR-V: Perfect for Generation Z 🎥
COMPLETE With the ZR-V, Honda is closing the gap between the HR-V and CR-V. The new model, developed for a young clientele, is powered by the efficient e:HEV full hybrid system familiar from the Civic.
Following the Jazz and the Civic, Honda is also equipping the new ZR-V compact SUV with the e:HEV hybrid system. A gasoline direct injection engine, together with two electric motors, provides powerful and efficient drive to the front wheels. With a length of 4.57 meters and a wheelbase of 2.66 meters, the ZR-V ranks between the HR-V and CR-V. The front is dominated by a glossy black radiator grille consisting of vertical bars on the Elegance and Advance models, while the Sport models get a honeycomb design.
Safety system and eleven airbags
The ZR-V's subtly colored interior has a high-quality feel thanks to the soft-touch materials on the dashboard, door panels and center console. For the Elegance and Sport trim lines, there is a 7-inch TFT display that, along with the speedometer, conveys the most important info in an easy-to-read manner. In the Advance model, a 10.2-inch TFT display provides information. Also standard in the ZR-V is the Honda Sensing safety system, which together with the eleven airbags and all-round collision protection ensures active and passive safety.
From 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds
The e:HEV hybrid drive delivers a maximum output of 135 kW (184 hp) and a maximum torque of 315 Nm. This enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. In addition to the sporty driving performance, however, the system control also ensures low consumption values. With the four driving modes Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow, the characteristics of the powertrain and chassis can be adjusted as desired.
The ZR-V will be on display at Auto Zürich from November 2 to 5, 2023, at Messe Oerlikon.
