CR-V
At the front, the CR-V Hybrid is clearly recognizable as a member of the Honda family.

The new hybrid system i-MMD (meaning intelligent Multi Mode Drive) comprises two electric motors (one working as a generator), a 2.0 VTEC gasoline engine with Atkinson cycle, and a lithium-ion battery to offer occupants optimum efficiency and drive culture.
The i-MMD system includes Hybrid Mode, Engine Mode and EV Mode. The CR-V Hybrid offers a choice of front-wheel drive or the new all-wheel drive Intelligent AWD.

Drive energy from the battery
In practice, the CR-V Hybrid drives purely or largely electrically as a gentle glider most of the time.
Only between around 80 and 120 km/h does around two-thirds of the energy come from the gasoline engine.
In EV mode, the entire drive energy comes from the battery, in hybrid mode the naturally aspirated engine contributes 145 hp via the generator, and in engine mode the gasoline engine drives the wheels directly. This makes the car a real joy to drive.
The on-board electronics decide on the distribution of the drive power. The driver does not notice any of this.

Active noise compensation
Honda has equipped its 4.60-meter-long SUV in a rock-solid and emphatically restrained manner. The new active noise compensation is factory-installed, as is the driver assistance system that warns of a collision with another vehicle or a pedestrian and reduces the speed.
Other aids include lane departure warning (visual and audible warning of lane changes without using the turn signal), active lane departure warning (keeps the vehicle in the center of the lane) and traffic sign recognition, which displays information on the display and automatically adjusts the vehicle's speed. Safety comes first. That's good.
Prices for the Honda CR-V Hybrid with 184 hp, which is only available with automatic transmission, start at 43,900 francs.
