The new Volkswagen Polo GTI follows in the footsteps of its successful predecessors and continues the GTI story.

Volkswagen is also launching the sixth generation of the Polo as a GTI version. With an output of 200 hp / 147 kW and dual-clutch transmission (DSG), sports suspension, sports seats and 17-inch alloy wheels, the husky Polo costs CHF 31,700.

Compact athlete
According to the supplier, the new compact sports car is another highlight in the legendary GTI story. Shifted by six-speed DSG, the new Polo GTI accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The top speed is 237 km/h. A fuel consumption figure of 5.9 l/100 km reflects the efficiency of the drive /all factory data).

Genuine GTI inside and out
Other hallmarks: sports suspension, front-wheel drive and an expressive exterior and interior design. Refined with GTI insignia such as the typical red stripe in the radiator grille, the GTI gearshift knob and the legendary "Clark" check seat cover. On the exterior, the sporty look is supported by the standard LED front headlights and taillights. Optional highlights include fully digital instruments (Active Info Display), as well as further assistance systems.

Value stability forecast
This month, industry specialist Bähr & Fess Forecasts published the latest analyses on the value retention of all current automobiles. According to this, the new Polo is the small car that will have the highest residual value in 2021. The first Polo GTIs will arrive in Switzerland from the end of January 2018.
