From 15 000 buyers will be produced
The Grenadier's design is deliberately kept simple so that it can be easily repaired even in more remote areas of the world. According to the company, over 15,000 buyers need to be found to make production profitable.
Model is Land Rover Defender 110
At first glance, it is clear which vehicle was the model for the Grenadier: the Land Rover Defender 110, whose production was discontinued in 2016.
The fact that the Grenadier is based on the British model was already obvious from the first prototype pictures. However, the fact that the new off-roader from England would be so close to the original is surprising.
First ideas were born in a pub
According to legend, Arthur Ratcliffe did not want to resign himself to the end of production of the Land Rover Defender. In a London pub, the idea is said to have been born to resurrect the legendary off-roader.
The name of the pub: "Grenadier". Another question among Guiness fans?
