This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed provided the first taste of what's to come: a prototype of the Lexus LC Cabriolet took to the traditional hill climb circuit and showed itself in action for the first time.
Athletic proportions of the coupé
The Lexus LC Cabriolet shares its athletic proportions with the Coupé. The large wheels and short overhangs promise driving dynamics. Even though the prototype was still camouflaged at Goodwood, it has the design and dynamic capabilities of the production version.
Racing driver Nick Cassidy, who actually drives for Lexus Team Keeper Tom's in the GT500 class of the Japanese Super GT series, steered the car over the mountain course.
Detailed specifications and launch schedules for the Lexus LC Convertible will be announced at a later date.
