As a reminiscence of the historic DS from 1955, the DS 9 is equipped with funnel-shaped side position lights on the edge of the roof. They are a historical reference to the indicators of the legendary Citroen model.
All-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission
The new DS, which would have been presented to the general public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, will be available as a plug-in hybrid with 225 hp and as a petrol version with the same power output. Two further PHEV versions with 250 hp and extended range and with 360 hp and all-wheel drive will follow. All DS 9 models have an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Elegant furnishings and comfort
The dashboard is upholstered in nappa leather, the seats have pearl embroidery with a bracelet finish. There are also decorative elements in crystal glass, headlining and sun visors in Alcantara and leather grab handles.
Thanks to the wheelbase of 2.90 meters, the DS 9 also offers plenty of space in the rear, where there are air-conditioned seats with massage function.
The DS 9 will initially be launched in China in the second half of the year. Sales in Switzerland are also planned, but the timing is still uncertain.
