Renault is presenting the Alaskan pick-up, which has been available in Europe since September 2017, in Geneva as a show car with a new look. The Alaskan ICE Edition comes in Blanc Glace with high-contrast black and red stripping.
The two-tone hard top has an exclusive design, but is also a practical feature for additional cargo space or weather protection for the load. The expression of its power includes stylish black rocker panels, black 18-inch alloy wheels, mudguard surrounds, off-road tires and a shark antenna.
As versatile as a Swiss army knife
The show car demonstrates the numerous possible applications with a wide range of equipment and customized conversions, whether for professional or leisure use. Everything can be found, from the hard top with lockable tailgate to the sliding and lockable cover of the loading bridge to the protective device for the load or the trailer coupling.
In terms of fuel consumption, the Alaskan is rather modest. The 2.3 dCi engine from Renault, available with 160 hp or 190 hp, ensures that the robust pick-up is one of the most economical in its class.
