In addition to the sports suspension, variable sports steering is also standard equipment on the new BMW X4. Engines are available from 184 to 360 hp.
The display and control system includes a freestanding display that is optionally 10.25 inches in size and offers a touchscreen function.

To be precise: in length by 8.1 centimeters to 4.75 meters, in wheelbase by 5.4 centimeters and in width by 37 millimeters to 1.92 meters. The trunk offers 525 to 1430 liters of volume. This means there is enough room for five people and their luggage, even on long journeys.

Eight-speed stepronic transmission for all models
At the top of the range are two M performance models. The inline six-cylinder X4 M40i produces 360 hp, while its diesel counterpart, the M40d, puts out 326 hp and 680 Newton meters of torque. Other versions include the 265-hp xDrive30d, also a six-cylinder, and the four-cylinder xDrive25d, xDrive20d, xDrive30i and xDrive20i with outputs ranging from 184 hp to 252 hp. All model variants bring power to the road via an 8-speed Steptronic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel and all-wheel drive.

Security pact with adapted functions
The Driving Assistant Plus safety package includes the new generation of active cruise control with stop-and-go function, steering and lane guidance assist, lane departure warning with active side collision protection, and cross-traffic and intersection warning. The new Parking Assistant Plus also includes the Top View, Panorama View and 3-D View functions.
