Within a year, Porsche is thus presenting the third GT sports car with road approval after the 911 GT3 and the 911 GT2 RS. The performance-enhanced power unit has been accompanied by a chassis set-up that, with its recalibrated rear-axle steering, is designed for maximum dynamics and precision.
Purebred sports engine with seven-speed transmission
The boxer engine of the P11 GTR RS produces 20 hp more than in the predecessor model and the 911 GT3. Together with a rev range that extends to 9000 revolutions per minute (rpm), it presents itself as a thoroughbred sports engine. In combination with the specially tuned seven-speed PDK, driving performance at the highest level can be achieved.
Specially developed tires with new dimensions
A chassis with motorsport technology ensures the right driving dynamics. Ball joints on all control arms offer greater precision than conventional elastokinematic bearings. 20-inch lightweight wheels with newly developed 265/35 tires on the front axle support agility and steering ability, while 21-inch wheels with 325/30 tires on the rear axle enhance traction.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is available to order now. The nippy Stuttgart car is available from 258,200 Swiss francs.
