The Mercedes-AMG G 63 accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is limited at 220 km/h.
The fully digital redesigned widescreen cockpit with virtual instruments as well as the central display is optional.

To increase efficiency, the V8 has cylinder deactivation in Comfort driving mode. In the partial load range between 1000 and 3250 rpm, cylinders two, three, five and eight are deactivated. In addition, the powertrain has a sailing function. This leads to a combined standard consumption of 13.2 liters per 100 kilometers and results in CO2 emissions averaging 299 grams per kilometer.

Anti-roll bars help to prevent body roll
The "Smooth", "Comfort", "Sport", "Sport+" and "Individual" modes are available on the road, and "Sand", "Trail" and "Rock" modes are available off-road. The off-road reduction gear has been further developed for off-road use. It can be engaged up to a speed of 40 km/h. The ground clearance at the rear axle can be increased. Ground clearance at the rear axle gearbox is 241 millimeters. To reduce body roll, the G 63 has additional anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles.

Fast operation with touch control buttons
The new instrument panel contains analog tubes as round instruments as standard. The driver can select three different views. The leather nappa steering wheel is of course flattened at the bottom and perforated in the grip area. The shift paddles are galvanized. With the integrated touch control buttons, the functions of the instrument cluster (left) and the multimedia system (right) can be operated by horizontal and vertical swiping movements of the finger. Swiss prices have not yet been set.
