These include the BMW 8 Series and the Lexus LC. But the approach continues to motivate designers. The Korean luxury brand Genesis is now showing what a luxury coupé could look like in the future with an elegant, elongated study called the X Concept.
Electric vehicle architecture as a basis
The classically proportioned two-door, which is based on an electric vehicle architecture, features the Genesis-typical element of the double line.
It shapes the face in the form of the headlights, extends into the flanks and is taken up again at the taillights. At the same time, it is found diagonally in front of the rear roof pillar.
Four seats in different colors
The nobly designed interior has four seats, which are designed in different colors and have a four-point seat belt system. The cockpit is designed with the driver in mind, and the two-spoke leather steering wheel is lavishly finished.
A Shooting Brake is also being planned
The Genesis X Concept gives clear indications of the current and future design lineup of the brand, which plans to make its debut in Germany before the end of 2021. The G70 sports sedan, G80 luxury sedan and GV70 and GV80 SUV models are to be launched here. The G70 will also be available as a Shooting Brake.
