POWER AS WISHED At the top of the Puma model range is now the new ST, Ford's first performance crossover SUV on the European market. The new Ford Puma ST is Ford's sixth performance vehicle in Europe.

The Puma ST is powered by the 200 hp version of the EcoBoost turbo direct injection engine with 1.5 liter displacement. The power unit of the crossover SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.

The top speed is 220 km/h. The Puma ST joins the Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Mustang, GT and Ranger Raptor as Ford's sixth performance vehicle on the European market.

Puma ST
The factory specifies a top speed of 220 km/h for the new Ford Puma ST.

LSD locking differential is available as an option
The ST further exploits the possibilities of Ford's B-segment platform and counters the higher vehicle center of gravity of an SUV with a specially developed chassis.

The ST is the only vehicle in its segment to feature a mechanical LSD limited-slip differential from Quaife as an option. It is available as an option and optimizes traction on the driven front axle.

In finely tuned interaction with Torque Vectoring Control, the system also improves road holding and directional stability, especially on wet roads.

Standard Pilot Sport 4S on 19-inch wheels
The Puma ST's tires are another key factor in the synthesis of sportiness and ride comfort.

The Pilot Sport 4S optimally transfers the extra traction provided by the mechanical differential lock to the road. The standard 19-inch alloy wheels, which Ford offers in a choice of Magnetite premium paint or glossy finish, have a striking effect.

Eco mode for efficient driving
Power transmission in the ST is handled by the manual 6-speed gearbox familiar from the Fiesta ST. Unlike the compact car, the performance crossover SUV features a shorter rear axle ratio. Four driving modes showcase the ST's versatility on the road.

While the circuit-suitable racetrack mode focuses on maximum driving pleasure, the Eco mode, which can be selected for the first time in an ST model, places the emphasis on particularly efficient driving.

Front lip as a striking eye-catcher
The ST version continues the dynamic body design of the Ford Puma with its coupé-like sloping roof line. The front lip integrated into the front bumper is a striking eye-catcher.

Inside, heated Recaro sports seats welcome the driver and front passenger. The seats in non-slip Miko Dinamica with embroidered ST logo provide optimum support. A leather-covered steering wheel with flattened underside and a shift knob with ST badge add further accents.

The interior design is rounded off by the gray decorative stitching on the seats, shift knob cuff and ST-branded floor mats. More details in the gallery.

Luggage compartment volume of 456 liters
Like the other Puma equipment versions, the ST has a luggage compartment volume of 456 liters. Added to this is the innovative MegaBox. This flexible stowage space provides 81 liters of additional volume below the trunk floor, so that there is room for two upright golf bags in the rear of the ST, for example.

With an inductive charging station for mobile devices, the heated windshield, a Park Pilot system in the front and rear, and windshield wipers with rain sensor, the ST equipment includes numerous comfort features.

Sound system with 575 watts power
Also on board: the Ford SYNC 3 communication and entertainment system, whose audio and navigation functions can be operated either with simple voice commands or via the eight-inch touchscreen.

To integrate compatible smartphones, the system is equipped with the free Apple CarPlay and Android AutoTM interface standards. The standard premium sound system from B&O with an output of 575 watts is designed to put occupants in the mood with brilliant sound. The car does it anyway.
