Ford: Even more comfort when camping

TWO NEW VERSIONS In order to meet customer requirements even more, Ford is presenting the new Active and Trail equipment and technology versions of the Nugget camper series at the Suisse Caravan Salon in Bern.

The new trim levels are powered by a 2-liter Ecoblue diesel engine.

The new Active and Trail versions of the Ford Nugget have been developed to better meet customer needs in terms of exterior, interior space, and ability to get through on unpaved roads.

Nicolas Pizzuto, Head of Commercial Vehicles at Ford Switzerland, says: "To enhance the sense of adventure, we are offering our customers two more variants in the form of the Nugget models Trail and Active. In mid-2022, we will also launch the Limited version, which offers an even more comfortable interior."

Comfort and high-quality surfaces at the Active
The Active variant is designed for customers who value comfort, premium finishes and a stylish appearance. Exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels and a mesh grille, as well as a 2.6-meter awning, are standard, and the light wood flooring adds a luxurious touch to the living area. Satin-finished surfaces, black countertops and aluminum trim add further accents. The Nugget Active, which is built exclusively with a pop-up roof, can be ordered immediately from 69,646 Swiss francs.

Trail comes with standard limited-slip differential
The appearance of the Trail version (center gallery) is dominated by the matte black grille, which is inspired by the Raptor performance models and hints at the outdoor character of the camper van. Bumpers, body sides and wheel arches finished in black provide a special look, and 16-inch wheels round off the rugged look.
Another highlight besides the sliding side doors is the standard limited slip differential for more traction on slippery surfaces. The Nugget Trail with pop-up roof costs from 65,273 Swiss francs.

3-seater rear bench also with heating if required
In both trim levels, winter trips and cold nights become more comfortable because the 3-seater rear bench seat can be heated if required. The self-folding pop-up roof has windows so that good ventilation is ensured.

The new model versions are equipped with an electronic color touch screen control panel mounted near the closet. Prices have not yet been set.
