Ford has at the end of last year from the new Ford Mustang "Special Editions" in two versions as exclusive special models. These are produced exclusively for the European market. Both versions can now be ordered with different engine options for Swiss customers.
Blue Edition
The Ford Mustang Blue Edition pays homage to classic Mustang models that were painted in eye-catching, so-called "Grabber" colors in the 60s. The Blue Edition is accordingly painted in blue. Sporty stripes in black round off the overall look. The new Mustang Blue Edition can be ordered with either the 421-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 or the more efficient 317-horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. Both engine options can be combined with automatic or manual transmissions. The new Mustang Blue Edition costs from 41,950 Swiss francs in Switzerland.
Black Shadow Edition
The Mustang Black Shadow Edition, on the other hand, can be ordered exclusively with the 421-hp 5.0-liter V8. It is available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Four expressive paint finishes are available: Platinum White, Triple Yellow, Race Red and Grabber Blue.
Fully equipped
The extensive standard equipment includes parking sensors, air-conditioned seats for driver and front passenger, and a premium sound system with twelve speakers and a subwoofer in the trunk. The premium leather upholstery, also standard and finished in sophisticated black, with decorative stitching on the instrument panel and matching door inserts underscores the high-quality character of this special edition. Also standard: the black pony emblem in the GT radiator grille and special 19-inch 5-spoke Y-design alloy wheels. Black trim stripes run across the powerdome on the hood and along the vehicle's flank. For the Mustang Black Edition, prices start from 47,350 Swiss francs. The "Triple Yellow" and "White Platinum" color options add an additional 1400 francs each.
