Improving fuel efficiency

Start-stop system with coasting function
The Ford Focus with EcoBoost hybrid drive also has a start-stop system with coasting function as standard. This is a further development of the familiar start-stop system.

Cylinder deactivation saves fuel
The Ford Focus EcoBoost Hybrid also features fuel-saving cylinder deactivation. The system can deactivate and reactivate a cylinder in 14 milliseconds without affecting performance and imperceptibly for the driver.
Digital instrument panel in 12.3 inch
In addition to the new powertrain, the upgraded model range offers a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel with true color display and optimum connectivity thanks to the standard FordPass Connect modem1.
