Ford: Detail care for bestseller Focus 🎥
Ford has completely overhauled its top-selling Focus. In addition to the usual touch-ups, the facelift for the 5-door sedan and the Turnier station wagon primarily includes new assistance and infotainment functions.
The Ford Focus enters the new model year with fresh momentum and an even sharper design.
In future, the compact model will be available in the Cool & Connect, Titanium, Active and ST-Line versions, with the X and Vignale upgrades still available for the Titanium, the Active crossover variant and the ST-Line.
Sync4 connectivity system including navigation
First introduced in the battery-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Sync4 connectivity system including navigation with App-Link and DAB radio is now making its way into the Focus. The touchscreen, which now measures 13.2 inches (instead of eight inches previously), is positioned in landscape format above the center console.
In terms of assistance systems, the blind spot warning system now uses steering impulses to alert the driver to risky lane changes, and in conjunction with the "trailer detection" function, it can also detect the full length of the trailer.
7-speed dual-clutch transmission now as an option
The engine range remains virtually unchanged. However, the two mild hybrid models with 125 hp and 155 hp are now each also available with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. At the suggestion of customers, the Focus Turnier station wagon gets a special mat for its maximum 1653-liter trunk, on which damp and dirty objects or textiles can be transported, as well as a vertical stowage system.
The entry-level price is 24,900 Swiss francs for the sedan and 26,900 Swiss francs for the Turnier (both as gasoline models in the Cool & Connect equipment version).
Prices for the ST models start at 41400 Swiss francs for the 5-door sedan and from 43 400 Swiss francs for the Turnier.
