Fiat Panda: New model range
Fiat proudly presents the latest generation of the iconic Panda, which is now available to order in Switzerland. The new Panda range shines with advanced ADAS and cutting-edge technologies that will make every Panda lover's heart beat faster.
The history of the Fiat Panda goes back to 1980. Since then, more than eight million units of this inspiring small car have been sold across Europe. The Panda has been manufactured in Pomigliano d'Arco in southern Italy since 2011, where almost two million units have rolled off the production line to date.
Cult, City Life and Cross
Following a comprehensive restructuring of the model range, Fiat now offers the Cult, City Life and Cross variants. All new models are equipped as standard with advanced driver assistance systems, a reconfigured instrument cluster and a redesigned steering wheel with controls for the audio system.
Efficient drive options
Under the hood of all variants is a 1.0-liter petrol engine with 51 kW (70 hp) of power and mild hybrid technology. This hybrid drive supports the combustion engine when starting off, for example, which reduces fuel consumption.
Advanced safety and driver assistance systems
The standard equipment of the Cult and Cross models includes the autonomous emergency braking system (AEB), traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, drowsiness warning and rear parking sensors. A fully digital instrument cluster with a screen diagonal of 7.0 inches (17.8 centimetres) is also integrated as standard. Six airbags and an ABS system with electronic brake force distribution ensure additional passenger safety.
Focus on comfort and technology
Cruise control, available for the City Life and Cross versions, automatically maintains the preselected speed from 30 km/h upwards. The standard high-beam assistant in the Cross adjusts the brightness of the headlights to the traffic conditions, making it easier to drive at night.
Striking design
The Fiat Panda Classic Cross impresses with striking cross elements on the body such as specific bumpers, wheel arch moldings, side sills and roof rails. Daytime running lights and rear lights with LED technology, fog lights and tinted rear windows are also included as standard.
Sustainable interior
In the interior, the new Panda Classic Cross features newly designed seats with covers made from recycled Seaqual® material with PANDINA monograms and yellow decorative stitching. The driver's seat and steering wheel are height-adjustable and the dashboard is painted white.
Modern infotainment
The standard UconnectTM audio system with DAB radio is controlled via a 7-inch touchscreen (17.8 centimetres). The infotainment system supports the convenient integration of smartphones via Android AutoTM and Apple CarPlay. Other standard equipment includes six airbags, air conditioning, central locking, electric front windows and DualdriveTM electrically assisted power steering.
Variety of colors and customization
In line with the "No more Grey" strategy, only bold body colors are available for the new Fiat Panda and the new Fiat Pandina: Yellow, white, black, red and blue. In the two-tone paint finish with white bodywork and black roof, the cover caps of the exterior mirrors are yellow, complemented by yellow details in the Pandina logo on the side protective strips.
The new Fiat Panda is now available to order in Switzerland and will take the hearts of all lovers of technologically advanced small cars by storm.
