Ferrari: SF90 Stradale hybrid with 1000 hp
PAUKENSCHLAG Ferrari is entering a new world with the SF90 Stradale model. The first series-produced hybrid, equipped with four engines and all-wheel drive, reaches the magic 1000-horsepower mark for the first time. With the first series-produced plug-in hybrid, Ferrari puts everything that has gone before in terms of engine performance in the shade: in front of the rear axle is a 4-liter V8 turbo engine with 780 hp and 800 Nm [...]
With the first standard plug-in hybrid, Ferrari puts everything that has gone before in terms of engine performance in the shade: a 4-liter V8 turbocharged engine with 780 hp and 800 Nm is installed in front of the rear axle, which acts on the rear wheels together with the electric motor located in front of the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Reverse only with battery
Another electric motor is used for each of the front wheels. In total, the three electric motors deliver 162 kW, which means 220 hp and, together with the combustion engine power, makes it a thousand times more. The hybrid Ferrari can drive 25 kilometers purely on electric power, and in reverse it is powered exclusively by batteries.
Electronic assistance systems and adaptive aerodynamics support the driver so that the power can be optimally transferred to the road and the racing car in disguise also behaves well in normal traffic.
Up to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds
With an unladen weight of 1570 kilograms, the 4710-millimeter-long and only 1186-millimeter-high SP90 Stradale has a power-to-weight ratio of 1.57 kilograms per horsepower - an enormously low figure for a road car. This means that the Ferrari accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, and the 200 km/h limit is also reached after just 6.7 seconds. The Italians name 340 km/h as the maximum speed. However, no information is yet available on consumption, CO2 emissions and price.
