The combination of a petrol engine on the front axle and an electric motor on the rear axle enables a system output of 407 hp/300 kW. The Volvo S90 T8 Twin Engine AWD with plug-in charging starts at CHF 89,200, while the Volvo V90 with plug-in hybrid starts at CHF 92,500, both in the Momentum equipment line.
Dual power
The 320 hp/235 kW of the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and the additional 87 hp/65 kW of the electric motor ensure powerful traction, according to the supplier. With the T8 Twin Engine, the combined standard consumption (according to NEDC) is just 2.0 liters per 100 kilometers, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 46 g/km (factory specifications). The Volvo S90 and the V90 with plug-in hybrid drive can cover around 50 kilometers purely electrically.
Individually configurable
With the exception of the entry-level Kinetic version, the vehicles can be combined with all equipment lines. This gives customers a vehicle to suit their personal taste. Each plug-in hybrid comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, two trapezoidal and chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes and chrome applications in the front bumper are further distinguishing features of the top-of-the-range engine. In addition, the standard timer-controlled auxiliary heating ensures a comfortable climate even before the start in cold weather.
