Pure driving dynamics: Audi R8 V10 RWS
The Audi R8 V10 RWS is a pure rear-wheel drive car and will hit the road in spring 2018; it can be ordered now.

The model is rear-wheel drive (Rear Wheel Series) and is exclusively handcrafted in the R8 manufactory "Böllinger Höfe".

Pure and rare
The purist character of the new R8 variant is underscored by the matt black painted grille of the single frame and the likewise matt black air vents at the front and rear. As with the Audi R8 LMS GT 4, there is also an optional foil wrap for the Audi R8 V10 RWS Coupé; it is red and runs across the hood, roof and rear.

Free suction
The 5.2 l FSI engine of the Audi R8 V10 RWS produces 397 kW/540 hp. It provides its maximum 540 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The power unit accelerates the coupe from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.7 seconds (Spyder: 3.8 seconds) and on to a top speed of 320 km/h (62.14 mph) (Spyder: 318 km/h) - all factory figures.

Drifting possible
The suspension setup and control systems allow controlled drifts when the driver selects the "dynamic" mode in the standard Audi drive select dynamic handling system and sets the ESC stability control to "sport. At the limit, the ESC intervenes safely. The Audi R8 V10 RWS is available to order in Switzerland now - the first examples will hit the road in early 2018. The Coupé starts at 161,340 francs, the Spyder at 172,840 francs.
