Compact yet spacious
For its class, the E-Pace offers generous space. The compact SUV is 4395 millimeters long, with tight overhangs of 882 millimeters (front) and 832 millimeters at the rear. The wheelbase of 2681 millimeters offers space for up to five adults, 892 millimeters of legroom on the rear seat and a trunk volume of 557 liters - made possible by the space- and weight-saving multi-link rear suspension.
Driving dynamics control included
The vehicle dynamics control system measures the driver's inputs as well as the movements of the body and wheels and adjusts the damper recognition of the adaptive dampers (optional) to changing conditions at lightning speed. Numerous setting options and diverse modes adjust the vehicle to the individual driving style and weather conditions.
Exclusively four-cylinder
Under the hood, the latest model will be powered exclusively by 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines from the new Ingenium family. The top unit is the 221 kW/300 hp turbocharged gasoline engine, which accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h (factory specification) in just 6.4 seconds and only stops propulsion electronically at 243 km/h. For those who attach even greater importance to efficiency, there is the 110 kW/150 hp Ingenium diesel model, which is driven only via the front wheels. A total of two gasoline engines and three diesels are offered. Prices start at 39,500 Swiss francs.
