With sharply drawn lines, slim headlights and taillights, the DS 4 has a modern, sporty and geometric look. The roofline is coupe-like, and the character is underlined by three different lines. The DS 4 is 4.40 meters long, 1.83 meters wide and 1.47 meters high.
Sporty Performance Line and Cross model
The DS 4 comes as a discreetly elegant entry-level model, as a sporty Performance Line or as a model called Cross that plays with contrasts and is not an SUV, the changes are purely visual.
Clear structures and glazed crystal details
The interior is characterized by modern forms and a certain opulence that has become the signature of the DS models. Clear structures, glazed and crystal elements, and sophisticated materials create an appearance that is unparalleled in this class.
Interior variant with surfaces we fish skin
The French love of detail can be found in every corner. The joy of experimentation manifests itself not least in the choice of materials. For example, an interior variant with surfaces inspired by fish skin will be offered at the market launch.
The Performance Line is equipped with forged carbon fiber decor. In the other versions, dark ash wood is available on request. A touch-sensitive surface on the center console is used to enter data. The Focal stereo system has an output of 690 watts.
Daytime running lights with distinctive light signature
The electronic comfort and assistance systems also exceed the usual class standards. Among other things, there will be a night vision system that can detect pedestrians at a distance of 200 meters, and the head-up display projects information seemingly directly onto the road.
The matrix light meets upscale requirements, and the daytime running lights deliver an unmistakable light signature with a total of 98 LE diodes. As an option, the chassis can draw on information provided by a camera scanning the vehicle's apron.
Hybrid E-Tense with a system output of 225 hp
The engine range is already extensive at the market launch: In addition to three gasoline engines with 130, 180 hp and 225 hp, there is a 130 hp turbodiesel and the plug-in hybrid E-Tense with a system output of 225 hp.
All variants are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission controlled by a rocker switch called E-Toggle.
Available from the fourth quarter, the new DS 4 presents itself as an individualistic as well as progressive alternative to well-known models from other manufacturers in this class.
