Dacia: Bigster Concept for the C segment 🎥

NEXT CLASS PLEASE As part of the Renault Group's Renaulution strategy, Dacia has unveiled its five-year plan to 2025. The Dacia Bigster Concept study, shown for the first time, paves the way for the brand in the C-segment.

The video is to point out a connection to the use of recycled materials in the Bigster Concept.

At first glance, the Bigster Concept illustrates how the Romanian brand envisions its future: new buyers are to be won over with coolness and lifestyle, while still remaining interesting in terms of price. Three new models are planned.

Bigster
The Bigster Concept's distinctive Y-shaped light signature is a nod to Dacia's familiar logo.

Similarities with Thor's hammer of the Swedes
With a length of 4.60 meters, the SUV is to play in the mid-range, but only cost as much as a city SUV. With its pronounced fenders, the design is reminiscent of the Dacia Duster, but at the same time looks more striking and futuristic.

The LED lights, which are found in various shapes at the front, are responsible for a particularly striking effect. A newly interpreted Dacia logo with a mirrored D shines in the center, while the Y-shaped main headlights, which are somewhat reminiscent of Volvo's Thor's Hammer, can be seen on the very outside. The taillights also bear this pattern.

Platform fits gasoline, diesel and hybrids
The matte black wheel arches and sills made of recycled plastics as well as the lush off-road tires have an off-road character. All we know about the interior so far is that it will be spacious and have five seats. When the Bigster Concept is ready for production in the coming years, several powertrains should be available.

The CMF-B platform, on which Renault Captur and Nissan Juke also stand, for example, would allow gasoline, diesel and hybrids. Let's wait and see.
