Our test model dCi 110 S&S 4WD Prestige with 6-speed manual transmission costs 19,990 francs in the base version. Its modern 1.5-liter turbodiesel from Renault with 260 Nm produces 110 hp and meets the Euro 6B emissions standard. The automatic start-stop system is standard on all Duster engines. In front-wheel operation, consumption is kept within pleasing limits at slightly over five liters. With additional equipment (automatic air conditioning, multiview camera, spare wheel, heated front seats and keyless drive), the price is 21,140 francs.
Elevated seating position and good all-round visibility
Space and all-round visibility 4.34 meters in overall length and 1.80 meters in width leave plenty of room inside for five people including 467 liters of luggage volume, which increases to 1614 liters when the seats are folded down. The clarity of the body and the all-round visibility due to the raised seating position
are complemented by the multiview camera, which makes maneuvering safe and easy. The second model generation of the compact SUV features as
first Dacia model to have windowbags as standard, protecting the heads of the driver and front passenger.
The equipment leaves nothing to be desired
The interior is tidier and more modern. A DAB+ radio (standard from Comfort) and the Media-Nav Evolution touchscreen navigation system (standard for Prestige) are also on board. There is also a redesigned multifunction steering wheel. Who would have thought that saving could be so much fun?
