Dacia Spring
The Dacia Spring will be available for pre-order in Switzerland from April 22, 2021. Swiss prices have not yet been set.

The 3.73-long, four-seater city SUV is over ten centimeters longer than a Twingo Electric and is said to be able to travel up to 230 kilometers on one battery charge. In the city, even 300 kilometers are said to be possible.

Seven-inch navigation touchscreen and parking assistance
A particularly well-equipped version offers, among other things, a seven-inch navigation system with touchscreen and smartphone connection, parking assistance with rearview camera, and metallic paint. Added to this are orange design accents in the interior and exterior.

The base version includes manual air conditioning, Bluetooth radio, and a Mode 2 charging cable. The base color is white. Metallic paint finishes cost extra.

Fast charging option with 30 kW on request
The battery is supposed to be 80 percent charged in less than an hour at a fast-charging station, and a full charge at a home outlet takes less than 14 hours, according to Dacia. A dedicated app can also be used to remotely check the remaining range, switch on the air conditioning before the journey or determine the location of the Springs.

If the car is currently connected to the power supply, you can start or stop the charging process. You can also see how long the Dacia Spring still has to charge. A CCS fast-charging option with 30 kW charging power is available as an option.

Production with know-how from Switzerland
The engine of the Dacia Spring produces 33 kW (44 hp). The front-wheel drive vehicle has a top speed of 125 km/h and rolls on 14-inch wheels. The battery capacity is 27.4 kilowatt hours.

By the way: The Dacia plant in Pitesti (Romania) has around 800 robots in operation that are labeled with ABB. They are part of a state-of-the-art production facility that uses Swiss know-how.
