Alternative with the plug-in hybrid to choose from
Cupra now also offers the Formentor as a plug-in hybrid. With a system output of 245 hp and a powerful system torque of 400 Newton meters, it sprints to the 100 km/h mark in seven seconds.
Electric range of 58 kilometers
The Formentor e-Hybrid combines a 1.4-liter TSI engine with an 85 kW (115 hp) electric motor. The maximum electric range in e-mode is 58 kilometers. Depending on the power source, the battery is fully recharged in five hours or around three and a half hours with 2.3 kW or 3.6 kW alternating current.
Distance control and front sport bucket seats
The Formentor e-Hybrid features automatic distance control, front sport bucket seats, high-beam assist and the 10.25-inch virtual cockpit.
Initially, the VZ e-Hybrid trim (VZ stands for veloz in Spanish, meaning fast) is additionally available with adaptive suspension, Cupra sport bucket seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, driver assistance package, larger 12-inch infotainment screen and rearview camera.
