Cupra: A trio shows the near future 🎥
VISION AND AMBITIONS Cupra will launch three new electrified models by 2025. Terramar, Tavascan and Urban Rebel are intended to make the Spanish brand successful in new markets and segments.
Cupra unveils exciting plans for the future. To kick off the next chapter, the Spaniards returned to the place where it all began four years ago: Sitges Terramar.
To date, Cupra has delivered nearly 200,000 vehicles, and sales have increased from 430 million euros in 2018 to nearly 2.2 billion in 2021. In the current year, the brand aims to double both sales and revenue, as well as its global network of masters and city garages.
Electric offensive takes center stage
The new Terramar, Tavascan and Urban Rebel electric models and the renewal of the current model range will usher in a new era by 2025.
CEO Wayne Griffiths: "We are showing the full range of Cupra's next generation of heroes, which will be launched by 2025. Our goal is to deliver 500,000 cars a year in the medium term and to penetrate new markets and new segments with our expansion strategy."
Terramar and Tavascan with plenty of space
New to the range is the Terramar, a sporty SUV that pays homage to Sitges-Terramar. The model is produced at the Audi plant in Györ, Hungary. The Tavascan embodies Cupra's electric vision and will remain true to the 2019 concept car. Both models offer space for five people and their luggage.
The Urban Rebel urban e-car is designed to stir emotions. It stands for the future and was designed for a more rebellious electric world. You can see what you can look forward to with the nippy runabout in the gallery.
