The sports sedan is named after a peninsula on Mallorca, which many people consider the most beautiful cape. The Formentor is powered by a specially tuned dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
Ambient lighting warning
Brushed dark aluminum and copper details accentuate the interior. The leather-trimmed bucket seats are available in black or petrol blue. The steering wheel includes the engine start button and the selection button for Cupra driving mode.
The full-LED ambient lighting of the dashboard runs across the entire front and along the doors and also takes over warning functions, such as those of the blind spot assistant or the exit assistant.
Plenty of space for passengers and luggage
With its length of 4.45, width of 1.83 and height of 1.51 meters, the Formentor offers all occupants sufficient headroom.
Given its wheelbase of 2.68 meters, there is not only sufficient space for passengers in the back seat, but also for luggage with a trunk capacity of 450 liters.
Paint finishes for every taste
In addition to the soft and metallic paint finishes Urban Silver, Midnight Black, Magnetic Grey or Candy White, the Formentor is also available in the special colors Graphene Grey, Dark Camouflage and Desire Red as well as in matte color options Petrol Blue Matt and Magnetic Grey Matt.
At the start 2.0 TSI engine with 310 hp
The Formentor will start with a 2.0 TSI engine with 310 hp and 4Drive coupled to a 7-speed DSG transmission. Later it will also be available as a plug-in hybrid with 245 hp. Both drive concepts benefit from a specially tuned dual-clutch transmission (DSG) and the 4Drive all-wheel-drive system.
Infotainment and connectivity
The Formentor is equipped with the latest infotainment and connectivity solutions that make it easy to integrate digital everyday life into the vehicle. For example, the 12-inch infotainment system has a reduced number of buttons and is capable of voice and gesture control. Full Link is also integrated, which is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. USB and Bluetooth are also available for accessing smartphone content.
Semi-autonomous driving mode
At the same time, a wide range of driver assistance and safety systems ensure that driving in the Formentor is more relaxed and safer. With a semi-autonomous driving mode, drivers of a Formentor arrive at their destination more relaxed. The predictive adaptive cruise control, emergency assist, travel assist, and side and exit assist, for example, all contribute to this.
