And it gets even better: the Formentor is now officially available for pre-order via Cupra's configurator - initially with a 310-hp 2-liter turbo gasoline engine that accelerates the Spanish CUV (crossover utility vehicle) from zero to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
In October, the model developed specifically for the brand will also celebrate its market launch in Switzerland with the first deliveries.
Alternative drive technologies
The Formentor makes its debut as a compact CUV with a length of 4.45 meters, a width of 1.84 meters and a height of 1.51 meters. At market launch, the model comes in the "Veloz" (Spanish for "fast") equipment line. Alternative powertrains will also be available next year.
Comprehensive equipment ex works
At a price of 50,000 Swiss francs, the Formentor is well equipped as standard. Comfort and safety are ensured by seven airbags, Smart Wrap Around Ambient Light, full LED headlights, the XL driver assistance package and the 3-zone Climatronic. A 12-inch navigation system is also on board, as is the "Virtual Cockpit" instrument cluster with 10.25-inch display and Cupra Connect.
