The C5 Aircross joins the Citroën family. The look of the 4.50-meter SUV is robust and striking.
From the start of sales, there will be two PureTech gasoline engines with 130 hp (1.2 liters) and 6-speed manual transmission and one with 180 hp (1.6) and eight-speed automatic transmission. There are also two BlueHDi diesels with 130 hp (1.5) and 180 hp (2.0). All engines meet the Euro 6d-Temp emissions standard. At the end of 2019, the C5 Aircross will be the first Citroën model to be offered as a plug-in hybrid.
Entertainment and connectivity
The interior conveys a pleasant feeling of modern comfort. The large panoramic glass roof makes a significant contribution to this. The eye-catching instrument cluster consists of a 12.3-inch TFT screen with a choice of three graphic designs. There is also an 8-inch touchscreen for entertainment and connectivity, and a large, cooled compartment in the center console for bottles up to 1.5 liters in size.
Driving assistance systems as required
For safe and relaxed driving, Citroën has installed no fewer than 20 electronic helpers in the C5 Aircross. These include an active lane departure warning system, adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go function (active from 30 to 180 km/h), a collision warning system (from 30 km/h), advanced traffic sign recognition and a high-beam assistant.
