The Corvette ZR1 features a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged flat-plane crankshaft DOHC V8 engine, designated the LT7. The LT7 engine produces 1064 hp at 7,000 rpm and 1123 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm according to SAE guidelines - the most power ever achieved by a production Corvette and the most powerful V8 ever produced in America by any automaker. According to GM, the Corvette ZR1 reaches an estimated top speed of over 345 km/h on the racetrack and completes the quarter-mile race in a time estimated by GM to be under 10 seconds. The targeted carbon aerodynamic package generates over 540 kg of downforce at top speed. The ZR1 revives one of the most iconic styles in Corvette history: the split rear window.
This engine ensures acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The advanced chassis and aerodynamics of the ZR1 guarantee exceptional driving dynamics that are impressive both on the road and on the racetrack.
