Callum: Off-road with elegant design and power 🎥
HIGH-PERFORMANCE 4X4 For decades, Ian Callum has been responsible for high-quality body design for Ford, Aston Martin and Jaguar. Now he is launching a high-performance multi-purpose vehicle under his own brand name.
When Ian Callum lends a hand as a designer, the result is a vehicle with striking lines and perfect proportions. This has always been the case during his career at Ford, Aston Martin and Jaguar, and he intends to keep it that way. Instead of retiring, the enterprising Scot has designed his own car, the Callum Skye. Just 4.05 meters long, it is immediately recognizable as a multi-purpose car with its large, practically free-standing wheels. But of course, despite the off-road look, designer Callum has paid attention to high-end body design.
To 100 km/h in four seconds
Designed as a 2+2-seater, the Skye is equipped with a 42-kWh battery that can be charged quickly and should enable a range of around 270 kilometers. According to the manufacturer, the battery can be fully charged in less than ten minutes. Despite its robust spaceframe chassis, the Skye weighs just 1150 kilograms, half of which is distributed between the two axles. It should be able to accelerate from a standstill to 96 km/h (60 mph) in less than four seconds.
Versions for road and off-road
Before definitive technical data is available, the Callum Skye will now undergo extensive tests and test drives in England and on the European continent. In addition, various model variants are to be developed by spring 2024, which are designed more for operation on paved roads or more for off-road use. Interested parties can find more information at
