The larger BMW kidney grille connected in the middle, the adaptive LED headlights in the front section and the larger air intakes give the BMW X1 a more powerful appearance, matching the engine range and the chassis - either with xDrive all-wheel drive or the new front-wheel drive.
All petrol and diesel engines will already meet the EU6d-temp emissions standard at market launch in summer 2019, with the BMW X1 sDrive16d and BMW X1 xDrive25d even meeting the EU6d emissions standard.
Battery technology arrives in 2020
With the start of production in March 2020, the BMW X1 xDrive25e will be equipped with fourth-generation BMW battery technology. The energy storage system achieves a gross energy content of 9.7 kWh. The BMW X1 with plug-in Hybird will be able to cover more than 50 kilometers purely electrically.
Standard equipment with 6.5-inch display
A highlight in the interior is the Control Display. A 6.5-inch, centrally mounted display is already included as standard. If a navigation system is selected, the X1 is equipped with an 8.8-inch or the new 10.25-inch Touch Control Display, which can be operated via the BMW iDrive Controller using voice and touch control.
Swiss prices start at 39,100 francs.
