The Flying Spur Grand Touring Sedan will be the first Bentley to feature all-wheel steering, providing both high-speed stability and agility around town.
During high-speed maneuvers, the electronics steer the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels, making overtaking and lane changes safer.
Dynamic Ride dampens cornering forces
Like every Flying Spur, the third generation also features all-wheel drive for optimum traction. For the first time, drive is supplied only to the rear wheels in normal road conditions with classic sports sedan handling characteristics. If spinning is detected, the system can immediately send drive to the front wheels fully automatically, ensuring active all-wheel drive.
Bentley Dynamic Ride was developed to further improve handling and ride comfort. Thanks to the innovative system, cornering forces are damped and body roll is reduced to a minimum.
Historical predecessor as a model
Like the recently launched Continental GT, the new Flying Spur sets new standards in technology and craftsmanship. The four-door sedan, which owes its historic name to its predecessor, is designed to offer an unparalleled travel experience for driver and passengers.
