The highlight of the Fulminea, of which exactly 61 units are to be built, is its innovative battery technology. It has a hybrid battery system with solid-state cells and so-called ultra-capacitors. Despite a range of 520 kilometers in the WLTP cycle, the batteries are said to weigh a full 300 kilograms.

From 0 to 100 km/h in around two seconds
The performance of the four-engine all-wheel drive vehicle is certainly impressive: The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is completed in around two seconds, and 320 km/h is reached in ten seconds. And the Fulminea is supposed to be electronically limited at around 350 km/h.

According to Managing Director Roberto Olivo, the company does not want to participate in a record hunt in terms of lap times or top speed. Instead, there are innovative elements, such as futuristic lighting elements or a hidden opening system whose function will only be known to the owner.

Production of 20 vehicles per year
The Merano-based company wants to do without trade shows and major events. Company boss Gianfranco Pizzuto is confident that he can sell 20 cars a year without such expensive events.

The Fulminea was designed by Alexander Klatt, who once worked for US manufacturer Fisker. Gianfranco Pizzuto was one of the company's initial investors. The Fulminea is also the flagship for a battery gigafactory - and is by no means to remain the brand's only model.

Roberto Olivo: "We love cars, and there will be another series."
