The new racer is the most powerful model ever offered by Audi Sport customer racing. In production, the synergies with the Audi R8 Spyder V10 performance quattro production model are very pronounced.
The race car is largely built at the Böllinger Höfe site in Neckarsulm. Only the operational preparation up to delivery condition is carried out by Audi Sport customer racing in the Biberach district of Heilbronn.
Customers will receive the race car in Suzuka gray, complete with the tightly waisted, glossy black roof characteristic of the GT2 version.
Race series for gentleman pilots
The race car, which starts at 338,000 euros (excluding VAT), can compete in the GT2 Sports Club America, the GT2 Sports Club Europe and the GT2 Sports Club Asia from 2020. These racing series are aimed specifically at gentleman drivers who appreciate the high longitudinal dynamics of the race car.
In the growing segment of track days and race resorts, further areas of application are opening up that are particularly attractive to owners of high-performance sports cars.
