Both models have electric all-wheel drive and adopt the two-speed gearbox on the rear axle from the Taycan. There is currently no talk of a variant with rear-wheel drive like the Taycan.
Top speeds of up to 250 km/h
The normal model has 350 kW (476 hp) and 630 Nm, while the RS version of the e-tron GT has 440 kW (598 hp) and 830 Nm. According to the factory, the normal e-tron GT needs 4.1 seconds and the RS model 3.3 seconds to sprint to 100 km/h, with top speeds of 245 or 250 km/h.
Charging power with direct current is 270 kW
Both variants have an 86-kWh battery. This should enable the e-tron GT to travel 487 kilometers - the range of the RS variant has not yet been specified.
As with the Taycan, the voltage level is 800 volts, so the car can be charged quickly. Up to 270 kW charging power with direct current is possible as standard. With alternating current, only eleven kW is possible as standard, but it should be possible to charge with 22 kW shortly after the market launch.
Rear seats offer sufficient space for adults
The interior corresponds to that of a classic Gran Turismo: the driver and front passenger are seated in a sporty, low position, separated by a wide center console, while the rear seats also offer enough space for adults. The leather-free interior consists of upholstery with a high proportion of recycled material.
A 12.3-inch instrument display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen come as standard. A head-up display is optional. Passengers in the rear can put their legs in the footwells. This makes for a relaxed journey.
All-wheel steering and laser light are available on request
Even the basic version has adaptive dampers, a rear axle differential lock and LED headlights. The RS model also has air suspension and Matrix LED headlights. All-wheel steering and Audi laser light are optional for both models. These practical aids will certainly be installed in every vehicle in Switzerland.
