Audi: The Q2 compact SUV delivers up to 190 hp

Not bad, the new Q2 from Audi. The compact SUV is an urban type for everyday life and leisure that combines progressive design and high functionality. Connectivity, infotainment and assistance systems are on a premium class level. Swiss prices have not yet been set. Sales launch: The Audi Q2 will roll into Swiss dealerships in fall 2016. The compact SUV can be ordered from the middle of the year.

First impression: The flat-sloping roof flows harmoniously into a C-pillar with a color-contrasting blade. This contrast underscores the sportiness of the Audi Q2. At the rear, a long roof edge spoiler and a diffuser with underride guard look form a dynamic finish. In the side view, the high sill line and the recessed flanks in the door area are particularly striking. In addition to the optional Audi virtual cockpit and head-up display, the driver assistance systems for the Audi Q2 also come from the luxury class - including Audi pre sense front as standard.

Gasoline and diesel engines are available in every performance level
The Q2 will be launched with a choice of six engines. In addition to a 1.0-liter three-cylinder TFSI, the range includes two four-cylinder gasoline engines with 1.4 and 2.0 liters of displacement. Three four-cylinder diesels with 1.6 and 2.0-liter displacements are also available. The power range extends from 116 to 190 hp. As an alternative to the 6-speed manual transmission, Audi offers the S tronic dual-clutch transmission with seven gears for all engines.
